I only recently found out that my mother had another child before me and gave her up for adoption. My mother didn't want to talk about it so I didn't get very much information from her. My mother passed away last year from Alzheimer / Dementia. I grew up as an only child. Both my birth mother and my birth father (who legally adopted) are deceased. I have two adult sons but would love to find my birth sister. I don't have any information about her birth father and don't believe we have the same one. Only my birth mother's parents and step-parents knew about the adoption until about 2 years ago. Unfortunately there really isn't anyone that I can ask for more information because they are all deceased except one and she doesn't remember what year my sister was born. I think they both went to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and the attorney also knew that my grandmother worked at the Maricopa County Health department. All Other Information: I am an adoptee and I also through circumstances had to give up 2 children. I have 4 children, my oldest 27, and youngest 9, I was able to keep. I have a son born 7-13-1984 I gave up through Catholic Social Service and left the records open, but have never been able to reunite with him. My other daughter Anna who is 17 was adopted privately and she found her brother and sister and I last 11-?-2007. It was and is so wonderful to have her back in our lives. Her adopted parents did a wonderful job of raising her and we are all "family" now. She's a beautiful young woman who has now found her "peace" through finding us, and is content with what happened and knowing the truth. We see her every other weekend and spent the holidays with both families. I guess I just wanted to tell you, someone that I have my daughter back, still wishing for my son, so I can at least one time see all 4 of my babies together! I never have found any of my adopted parents or anything. I have been in both positions and it's so important that parents who chose to give their children for adoption at least give the child some kind of info. as to why or their "identity". It affected my life in a terrible way-not knowing and I've seen the peace it gave my child in knowing. I'm from AZ. so it's all closed and sealed and that is I believe "our right" to know, and "our responsibility" as birth parents to give that to a child. I think I found that he passed away 11-8-1998 in Contra Costa, CA (526-56-8476) I have his d.o.b. 8-27-1942 but the marriage certificate from Imperial, CA said 1943 DOM 2-21-1965. I did find a divorce record for the two 11-?-1968 in San Diego, CA. I have very little information except that Chris Diane d.o.b. 12-29-1965 and was adopted out ?-?-1967 who I am looking for might be from Thomas also. I dont have a lot of information on her. Birth mother was sent to live with an aunt in Phoenix until my birth. Adoption was arranged through attorneys and Dr. Zeph Campbell. He was birth mother's obstetrician. Adoptive parents sent to him by Catholic Social Services for infertility check as part of the work up to be able to adopt a baby. Dr. Campbell told adoptive parents that he had a girl in that same day who was going to give her baby up for adoption and they should think about it and eveything could be arranged.

The birth father was 22 (David R Butts from Ohio) (Update) Birth father is now 5'5" tall, with German and Indian background. He had blue eyes and black hair. I don't know much about the birth mother, but she has a daughter who I am working up the nerve to talk to about this. The birth mother knows nothing about the adoption other than what her sister had told her at the time. She was told he was adopted by a doctor in Arizona. We were always told he was adopted by the birth mothers sister but birth mother says that the son who would be the same age is not him. All Other Information: This is ALL the info I know right now that I found, My mother ,she was 17 and a junior in high school (Mesa High ) when sent to Florence Critteon House in Phx. She was admitted on 8-9-1965 and left for unknown reason, it says she left willingly, at 36 weeks ,approx 8 months along. Here expected due date was 11-2-1965 but may have been sooner. My brother and I were early by an average of 2 months. So that is a possibility. A family was waiting to adopt ASAP they said. Maricopa County Child Welfare handled the adoption arrangements but it may have been changed to Family Services of Arizona at the last minute. The lady I spoke to said probably not though. My mom was born on 4-2-1948 in Hillsdale MI. Her name is Luana Boatman at time of birth

There were three daughters born previous to this son to Patricia. Baby Boy Cootware was born at Tucson General Hospital and placed for adoption at birth. His birth parents we not married at the time of his birth. They married some time later and had two more sons. They moved to Texas after placing this son for adoption. An attempt was made to reverse this adoption a few months later, I am told. Birth mother (our mother) has a serious medical history. Birth father has a serious medical history, as well. All Other Information: Her name when adopted Jennifer Shaw I have the birth record from her mother my daughter, Rae Marie Huls from the hospital in Yuma. born 8-20-1969 - Yuma, Yuma Co., AZ adoptive parents - Jennette/Jeannette and Bud Shaw left Yuma and moved back to their home in Shawnee, OK - but left their in the early ?-?-1980s. Bud worked for an outdoor sign company both in Yuma and Oklahoma, her mother was a waitress in Yuma. About 20 years ago she was in Yuma and gave her phone number to a fellow to give to me if he ever saw me, he through the phone number away. I tried a US Search in 2000 and phoned over 150 women who were born on 8-20-1969 but did not found one born in Yuma, Arizona. What do I do next ?. My daughter really never forgave the doctor or me for making her give her up for adoption, but it was for health reasons. The family came to Yuma when Jennifer was about three years old and stopped into see me and at that time they were in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I have told my daughter that the one thing I want to do is find her while I am still living. Thanking you in Advance.

All Other Information: The birth parents conceived the adoptee around Christmas time of 1968. The birth father Michael was in the Army when learning about Sandras pregnancy, upon leaving the army to find Sandra and keep his child he was unable to ever again find her or her family. His was informed through a 3rd party that she did give birth to a boy but no other information was provided. I have made contact with Sandra's mother who said she was the "Mother In Law" and would not tell me much other than the child was given up at birth and in Arizona she would not tell me any more. Until recently after my life long search to find the birth mother to get as much details as possibly I was able to finally find her Obituary online, Sadly she passed away in 9-?-2010 from lung cancer. I used her Obituary to try and contact the listed relatives of hers but have failed at all attempts except for the Mother Lois Nehmer and no information was given then. (Update) Sadran Lynne Gresko (Nehmer) birth mother was 18 years old when the child was conceived. She was born 9-20-1950 So I dont know if she was 19 years old yet by the time the child was born because I do not know her birthday. Sandra I believe her eyes were blue and blonde hair. I never met her but her height from her pictures looks like she may have been between 5'5-5'7" tall ?. Michael Eugene Shepard the birth father was 19 years old at the time of conception and was born 8-2-1949 so may have been 20 years old when the child was born. He is 6'4" tall, brown eyes and dark brown (almost black) hair. (Update) My birth brother was born around 9-1-1969 ?. He was born in Mesa, Arizona at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was taken in by the LDS Family Service at the time of birth. I have been looking for 10 years and I recently was contacted by the birth mothers eldest child who supplied me with the above information.

All Other Information: I was named after the lady that facilitated my adoption. I believe her name was Gloria Delturco? Apparently her husband was a hispanic movie star? He apparently stared in western's. I was released from the hospital at 3 days old, then I went to foster home for 6 days and my adoptive parents picked me up from my foster home at 9 days old. Apparently my biological parents were college students in Phoenix (not sure which school?), one parents family was in banking and the other's family owned a chain of grocery stores. They apparently were going to get married but just did not want kids at the time they chose to give me up for adoption. My Biological dad was approximately six foot two inches or six foot three inches tall, of Irish/Swedish decent, with blond hair. My bilogical mother was apprently mexican about five foot five inches tall. If by some long shot chance they read this profile, I really want them to know that I harbor no hard feelings. I have had a very good life. I love my adoptive parents, as a matter of fact there is no indication from my parents that I am any different than their two biological children, (my sisters). I am a christian and I love the Lord Jesus Christ for taking care of me. I won't say there haven't been life challenges but I have had a good life for the last 38 years (as of tomorrow). I want you to know that I really hope to meet you some day if not here on earth, maybe God will reveal to me who you are when I get to heaven, I hope if we don't meet this side of heaven that you will accept the Lord as your savior so I can meet you there. I often think of you and wonder what you look like, if I have sibblings, etc. I have just recently began looking on the internet on different ways to try to contact you. I could say sooooo much more, but I don't know that you will ever see this, so I will hold of for now on writing any more.
