All Other Information: Searching for half birth brother Jeffrey Scott Verrill. Name Might of Changed. I have been trying to find my half birth brother for over 15 years now. My birth mother Dorothy (Dotty, Dottie) Ann Verrill had him in Providence, RI in September I Believe from what I was told. His birth name is Jeffrey Scott Verrill. He is in 30's now. I Turned 28 in May and I think he maybe 2 or 3 years older than I am. I never have met him. My mother lost her rights to him and any other child after him which would make a total of 5 including myself. I'm the 2nd oldest and we do not have the same birth fathers I'm pretty sure that his birth father was never in the picture or on the birth Certificate. A family relative said my birth mother was mentally challenged and starving him and DCYF didn't look into things and took the family members word from what I understood My maternal grandmother Mary Frances Elwell (Other last names she had- Linsenmyer, Kelly, Verrill) She tried to fight for custody of him which she was denied. He went into foster care. Myself and 1 younger brother and 1 younger sister was taken in by my Grandmother as soon as we were born so we weren't taken away and put into foster care never knowing our family. My Grandmother had more information (Old SSN, B-day) in her paperwork but she is now deceased and her paperwork got lost in the mix of things. All I want to know is If he is alright and to let him know he does have other birth siblings out there. I'm sure his name is not the same and if he doesn't want to know us that’s fine just as long as I know he has a good life. All Other Information: I am a son searching for my birth mother. I do not have much information regarding my birth and/or adoption. I was told my birth mother was very young when she had me (15 years old) and that is why she put my up for adoption. I do know that I was adopted as a newborn, and I was told by my adopted mother that my birth mother's first name could be "Dawn". My adopted mother also told me that she was working in the hospital where I was born, Woman and Infants Hospital in Providence, RI. It is possible that I have a biological sister as I was told that my birth mother gave birth sometime a year later to a female baby. Any help or information is greatly appreciated, as I am just trying to locate any biological relatives. (Update) My eye color is hazel an hair color is brown. (Update) Hello.
