All Other Information: I weighed 10 lbs., and 7 oz. My adoptive parents didn't get me until I was five days old. Inez Crump was a family friend, who was the supervisor at Shoneys in Kanawha City, who set up the adoption for my adoptive parents. (Update) I do not have information about what my birth parents look like or their ages. However, I am 5'5" tall, with very light blue eyes and my hair was blonde until I reached my early twenties then it turned a light brown with blonde and red highlights and curly. It is unusual color. Always has been. But, since my early twenties, my hair has been turning white. It starts over my right eye and is at least two inches wide.

They lived in Shinnston, West Virginia at the time of adoption. Dr. Conner is listed as the physician. His mailing address is Shinniston, West Virginia. All Other Information: Looking for my birth mother I have been told she was young when I was born. The only paper I have is the court order for the adoption with her name on it, it says born out of wedlock, I am referred to as Baby Boy Myers. (Update) I found the following information in my adoption papers that may or may not be helpful-The adoption was entered in the Circuit Court of Marion County on 10-29-1976 Adoption Order Book 7 page 97 then another section says " that the child is a white male child and its parents are white persons; that said child sought to be adopted was delivered to the Petitioners at Fairmont General Hospital, with the consent of the mother, a few days after it was born, for them to keep and adopt as their own, and said child has lived with them in their home since 11 3-?-1976" I'm not sure if this means maybe I was born somewhere else and brought to the hospital. I was picked up at Fairmont General Hospital and have always assumed I was born there. The adoption was arranged by the family doctor Robert Hamilton, who has since passed away. He practiced medicine at Fairmont General Hospital. After reading the adoption papers though, I came to the conclusion that I may have possibly been born somewhere else. I recieved reliable information that my adoption was not handled through an adoption agency. A family member may have been involved on the Ailstock side. My birth mother may have been graduating or was in highschool in 1977. It seems the Doctors office arranged the adoption. Physican was Robert Hamilton in Fairmont, WV

All Other Information: Birth mother gave birth at age of 13 or 14. Held baby long enough to hear it cry, feel it move and count toes and fingers. Nurses took baby and birth mother was not permitted to view baby in nursery. Baby was issued a birth certificate and on the second day birth mother was told it was a still born. No death certificate issued. Birth mother was forced to sign legal documents in an expensive car outside her parents home leaving her there with no explanation. Birth parents were not married, and the Doctors name was Dr Nichols. Birth mother says labor was induced, and grandmother took info to her grave about that special horrifying day. (Update) Birth mother was 14 she had blonde hair Name was either Tina L Wade or Shumaker, blue eyes, and approx 5'5" in height. Birth father has blue eyes and brown hair, approx 5'7" tall, birth father was 17 at the time of birth. (Update) The Doctor that handled the birth has passed away. His practice was associated with St. Josephs Hospital in Parkersburg, WV. (No longer a hospital) (Update) DNA testing has been done with Ancestry and transfered the dna profile to all other geneology sites.

All that I have been told was that he was given up for adoption because the birth mother was not stable and my birth father was under age. His birth name was Glen Edward Mullins but no one has a clue what his name was changed to at the time of the adoption. My birth siblings and I have been going crazy searching for him because our Dad has no clue how to really use a computer. At the time of the adoption my birth father and Glenda were not together but when the state took the baby from the birth mother my dad was given the option to get custody but even though he wanted custody, with him being a minor, my grandparents didn't see my dad to be fit at the time either so the baby was put up for adoption.
