All Other Information: Debra Daniels was the case worker from Childrens Aid Socity of Utah. I was 16 when I had the baby. I am 5'6" tall, with green eyes and light brown hair. The only other place I have posted is with adopteeconnect and have had no luck or responses. I requested that the baby be adopted out to an LDS (Mormon) family at the time. I did request non-identifying info from adoption agency and did receive it. Would just like to know that he is ok and I would be willing to meet if he wanted to. Non ID on file. (Update) He joined his adopted family on 4-11-1980. The adoption was finalized 10-20-1980. His adoptive mother said he attended college and received a scholarship. All Other Information: My mother gave her birth son up for adoption on 1-?-1983 (not sure of the exact day). I believe the adoptive parents may have lived in Salt Lake City, UT for a while and I am quite certain that the family who adopted him was of LDS (Mormon) faith. The attorney who took care of this adoption had an office in Layton, Utah but has since passed away and his office is no longer open. The attorneys wife new the adoptive parents, it think. My mother received a letter from him years ago that was sent to my grandmothers address in Layton. (Update) Birth mother was 19 years old at time of birth, she was born 4-13-1963, 5'3" tall, with green eyes and dark brown hair. All Other Information: The only things I know about my birth family are that my birth mother was age 14 years old when she gave birth to me. I have heard rumors that she lived in Idaho and was sent to live with extended family in Utah during her pregnancy. I also know that my adopted family had to change my birth announcement from my real birthdate of 1-14-1983 to 1-17-1983 because of some kind of confidentiality issue...apparently someone got pregnant by an air force member and gave birth to a baby on the same day I was born and they didn't want to be identified. These facts could be muddled because I've had to piece the story together with little information. I am 5'1" tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair (although not much, and the doctor who assisted in my birth glued a bow on my head) at birth. I think I was born sometime in the morning. All Other Information: I am seeking medical information after having skin cancer in 2015 & lung problems since I was young. (Bronchial spasms, Asthma & Alpha1.). I was hospitalized in 2018 again for Pneumonia. Was quite ill for about 2 months. Birth mother has been said to have been anywhere from 12 to 18 years old, but nothing is confirmed. I had dark blue eyes and black hair at birth. They are now hazel or brown, with a slight blue ring around them. She says in her letter that she did hold me. She wrote a note to my mum & dad on lined notebook paper in pink ink from a ball point pen. It is dated 8-26-1985. It is signed 'Nichole Wiklund' but searches have turned up documents with similar handwriting making me question if her maiden name was actually Smith. She married a Wiklund within a month of my birth. This woman is in or at least resided in, Washington State. I found a Nichole & a Kyla Wiklund in Idaho Falls, though the last name had a 'ck'. I think I could be a grey market due to the presented age of my birth mother being 12 years old. Plus, the wording in this letter, as well as the reactions received (or lack thereof) when I've reached out to several people has been odd. I'm 99% sure I'm a secret. (Update) I'm a hair shy of 5'9" tall, with dark hair—espresso brown or black. I’ve seen my first grey over the last year, but I don’t dye it & it’s still remained dark, so that’s awesome. Fair skinned, burn easily even though I have yellow or olive-ish undertones. My father is Greek & easily 4-5 shades+ darker than I. The judge finalizing my adoption was judge Sawaya. This was 2-27-1986(?) I’ve since been told my biological mother was LDS & she/her family received pictures of me for anywhere from 1-5 years. Of this I was completely unaware. If this is the case, chances are that if they’ve seen pictures of me online, they should know who I am. I’ve changed/grown up, but you can always tell it’s me in pictures—especially if there are photos of me at ages 3-5. I was a professional swimmer. Junior Olympic bound at one time. I’ve since given up the sport but still love the water. I was also in a professional children’s choir & still sing & do voice over work. I’ve been told I have a soothing voice. I suffered a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) in 2011 in a ski accident (expert skier to this day) & in the aftermath, I’ve had some personality changes & sensory disorders that make it so I hesitate to say a lot about personality. I was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD, but in hindsight, I’ve definitely had it my entire life. I am naturally athletic, though I prefer dance & skiing to any team sport. I play tennis, love to surf, love the ocean, like to paddleboard. I love film, writing, interior design, photography, fashion & styling & travel. I’ve made a career out of these things. I’m a bookworm who loves to read. I can get through a 300 page book in a couple hours with ease & remember what I read. When tested as a young child, my intelligence was said to be in the top 5%. She played tennis at the club with my parents at the time. My paralegal (social worker?), on behalf of my parent’s attorney was called Jennifer Wilcox. The attorney was C. Reed Brown of Hintz & Brown. Their office was formerly located on 3450 Highland Drive. Mr. Brown has since moved to Nevada.

They were not well-known to each other. My birth mother had two other sons before me, I believe they were 5 and 2 when I was adopted. My birth mother was attending University of Utah for Psychology. I believe it was her 2nd or 3rd year at the university. My birth father was an avid football player in high school. My birth parents both identified as Catholic and for my birth mother, her religion was very important to her. She was in the process of divorcing her husband at the time of my adoption. My birth mother was 5'6" tall, with green eyes and brown hair. My birth father was 6'1" tall, with brown eyes, he might have had red or brown hair, I am not sure. Holy Cross Hospital is now known as Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. I was born at 4:59 a.m. The attending physician was Dr. Dane Winkleman. I have brown eyes and brown hair. I was a difficult birth for my birth mother and had to be pulled out with instruments by the medical professionals. All Other Information: Searching for my birth parents preferably my birth mother I was told my birth father didn't want to participate. My birth mother was also adopted when she was six, she wrote me a letter when I was born and made me blanket her mother that adopted her also wrote me a letter my mom was from German English Swiss and Russian she was 5'7” tall, about 130 lbs., with brown eyes and dark brown hair, she has light olive skin, she graduated in 1989 and had me in September of 1989 my birth certificate says the 28 but there was some confusion about it so it could be the 29 she was on swim track gymnastics in high school in elementary she was a member of the junior national Olympic track team in her city which I believe was West Valley High School she joined drill and swimming and water polo the birth father chose not to be involved but he was on the school’s basketball team and has tan to olive skin from some Spanish blood he also graduated in 1989. any information would be great I have been putting off writing this but I think it’s time to seek some information. !
