All Other Information: Misty was taken by her birth father when she was 1..along with her older brother. From what I learned, he went to either N.C. or Virginia. The birth father then later placed Misty in the care of a neighbor because he could not take care of her due to alleged illness. He never tried to contact me, her birth mother. I, the birth mother just within the past few years found my birth son who had been placed in foster care and put up for adoption. All information I have recieved has been from my son. He has been searching for his sister for many years. I wrote letters to social services in both NC and Virginia trying to locate my children but never recieved any response. The birth mother waited about 15 years to tell the birth father he had a son, but by then she had given him away.
