All Other Information: My mom didn't remember too much about anything when I asked her about 9 or 10 years ago. Just that he was born in Dec 1961 around the 12-15 to 12-24 and was given up for adoption directly from the hospital. She has since passed away. I was 16 and there were 5 of us already and Mom was a single Mom raising us alone on Welfare. We never saw the baby and my Mom has no recollection of how the adoption was handled or where he went when he was adopted-thinks it was Honolulu, tho'. All Other Information: (Update) Birth father was 26 years old at time of my birth. I am 5'3" tall, with brown eyes and brown hair. I have no other info on my birth parents or birth family at this time. (Update) Upon my birth mother’s death (I don’t know her name or date of death), I was three years old. My two younger siblings were Robert Lewis Haney – D.o.b. – 6-5-1963 and Brent Jay Haney– D.o.b. – 8-14-1964. My father, Robert Lewis Haney, was left to raise three children, three toddlers, alone. My father (Robert Lewis Haney – D.o.b. – 4-5-1936) had packed up my brother Robert and I to Oregon where he grew up and his mother still lived, leaving my baby brother Brent with “neighbors” in in Honolulu. We had only been in Oregon two months when my father died on 2-23-1966. Upon my father’s death, my baby brother Brent was adopted that same year by the family my dad left him with in Hawaii. His adopted name became Brent Jay Badua (currently resides in North Carolina). My brother Robert and I remained in Oregon foster care almost 5 years until we were both adopted into the Bish family in 6-?-1971. All contact attempts with Brent have been met with no response. We had been told that all three of us children had been born at the Kapiʻolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital of Honolulu, so when my brother Robert vacationed in Hawaii 5 years ago, he went to the Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children (formally the Kapiʻolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital of Honolulu) and was able to verify that Robert Lewis Haney – D.o.b. – 6-5-1963 and Brent Jay Haney– D.o.b. – 8-14-1964 were born there, but they could not verify that myself, Robin Lee Haney – D.o.b. – 6-11-1962 was born in their hospital. This was verified verbally in person only, he was not able to receive any paper documents.

Birth mother was Japanese and a student at the University of Hawaii who was involved with music, possibly a pianist. Birth father supposedly played baseball for the University of Hawaii. Adopted son was Baptized at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Kailua, Hawaii. Adoption proceeding number 12981 dated 3-25-1964. Signed by Judge Gerald R. Corbett. (Update) We were told both birth parents were students at the University of Hawaii, soo I would estimate the ages as between 18 years old and 23 years old. Harold is 5'10" tall and weighs about 185 lbs. he has brown eyes and black hair. Mother was Japanese, most probably brown eyes and black hair. (Update) Apparently my birth father was Hawaiian Chinese & worked in the hotel industry, apparently my birth mother was Pensylvanian Dutch. That her possibly "prominent" family sent her to Hawaii to have the pregnancy and the "baby" quietly. My birth mother and birth father met in college and conceived me. All Other Information: I am trying to help him find his birth parents for medical reasons. On the day he was born, there were 3 male babies born that day, he was one of the 3 and all 3 were adopted. He was sent to a foster home and adopted 3-4 days later. Thats all we know at this time. (Update) This is all Mark and I know - one of three males born on 12-23-1969 in Hilo Hawaii, at Hilo Hospital. put into foster care 4 days later with a Japanese man, and his Spanish wife, 1 year later my adoption was complete. Birth mother never put birth fathers name onto the original birth certificate. don't know birth mothers name. Research done on our own, shows 3 male births on that day, 1 African-American, 1 Caucasian, and addoptee. Adoptee is of Norwegian, French, German, Filipino, and Hawaiian ancestry, from what we have been told.
