He was born at 1:26 p.m. weighing 8 lbs 2 oz. My mother’s maiden name was Shelly Ruth Fowler and her d.o.b. is 6-22-1962. She lived in Woodward, OK at the time, but was sent to Deaconess Pregnancy & Adoption ? Home of Redeeming Love in Oklahoma City from 10-5-1979 to 2-29-1980. Shelly's sister recalled that the child's father was the Mayor of Woodward, but I believe it was the City Manager, Gary Lyon, making the father Jeff Lyon. He has not been located. Shelly's mother forced her to place the child for adoption and never let her see any paperwork. She immediately destroyed it and refused to ever speak of the child again. Shelly tried searching for her son years ago (when he was still underage), but was told that the records were destroyed by a fire, so she lost hope. She is now very eager to locate him, and hopefully be able to establish communication. Shellie has a very small frame, medium skin tone, brown eyes, and brown hair, but her mother, sister, and two daughters all have fair skin and red hair.
