The Adoption Agency that handled my adoption is the "Lutheran Children's Adoption Services" located in Wichita Kansas. I am of the "White" race and my son's father is "African American." The only information I am able to provide about the Adoptive Parents is that the Adoptive Mother's race is "Indian" and the Adoptive Father's race is "African American." Both were very well educated and had reputable careers. During the first few years the adoptive parents and I corresponded through the agency but remained anonymous.

All Other Information: I am searching for my birth parents and any birth siblings or any other birth family When I turned 18 I went to Catholic Social Services in Great Bend, Kansas and got the information they had for my file. I have since lost that information. I know that my birth mother's name is Brenda and my birth father's name is Robert. I know the last names are Gill and Deck but I don't remember what name belongs to which parent. I believe that the information they gave me it said I have an older sister that my mother had with a previous relationship. I believe that they said my birth mother was a nurse or maybe a CNA. I think that my birth father worked at Monford packing plant. I remember the paperwork said that Robert was from Hutchinson, Kansas and Brenda was from Iowa or maybe Ohio ?. All Other Information: Please contact adoptive mother through the email address. My son is 21 years old now. I promised him I would help him locate his birth mother when he turned 18. He will be 22 in 6-?-2009. I would like to email first with his birth mother so we can prepare him to meet her. I think she was 21 years old when he was born and she enlisted in the military, Army I think, shortly afterward. She also was adopted and her adoptive parents lived in Wichita, Kansas. I think her dad's name was Al Ferguson and lived near Pawnee Street when my son was born. My son was adopted through the State of Kansas and she relinquished her rights at the time of his birth. He was born in a doctor's office and then taken to St. Joseph Hospital. He was premature and was in neo-natal intensive care for 6 months after his birth. Her mother, I think her name was Doris, expressed an interest in raising him but her health would not permit it. His birth father worked as a manager at a Wichita night club and his name is Shawn Hage but I'm not sure of the spelling. He did not relinquish his rights, but the State eventually did it for him. They were not married. My son has never expressed an interest in meeting his birth father, only his birth mother.
