It is also possible he left Scotland later. My birth-mother (Sheila MacArthur) was a school teacher in Aberdeen, Scotland, but was killed in a street accident in 1950.

All Other Information: I know that my birth mother was born in ?-?-1939, in Cornwall, England. At the time of my birth my birth mother was a trainee nurse and lived in Paddington, London. In the early 1960's she moved to the US with an American family that had employed her as a "home help / nurse" in London and were returning back to the US and took her with them. Sometime after moving to the US she married, and as of 2005 was living in the state of Delaware. I do not know her married name or where exactly she was married. I have my original birth certificate as well as my adoption certificate. I know that in 2002, my birth mother's husband was around 80 years old and that they have 1 son and 3 daughters together. As of 2002, the eldest, the son was married and lived in Philadelphia, the elder daughter Victoria, lived in New York City and the middle daughter in California. Through an English search agency in the UK in 2002 I found my aunt, my birth mother's sister who lived in London and we met and she gave me the information above. Her name is Margaret Johnson, married to Gerhard Karl Angermayer. In 2002 my aunt facilitated one call between my birth mother and myself which was cordial, but she was not ready for any further contact with me. Contact with my aunt in London continued by phone every year or two, but about 8 years ago we lost contact.

All Other Information: I am searching for birth mother who became pregnant at age 15-1/2 years old in ?-?-1960 and made arrangements for my adoption immediately upon disovering pregnancy. Birth mother turned 16 years old before I was born. I was told that maternal birth grandmother took birth mother to England to give birth to me. I am white and believe birth mother probably is also. I do not know if pregancy was result of consentual or criminal actions. I also do not know if I was born in hospital or with midwife out of hospital. I was less than 1 year old when adopted but did spend several months at St. Mary's Episcopal Home for Children in Providence, RI waiting for a family to adopt me. The papers for my surrender to the home were done before I was born, but not the adoption itself. That is why I spent a few months at the home. Adoptive family lived in Rumford, RI and then to nearby Massachusetts for my schooling. I have very little information but the non-identifying items that were sent to me from the home. That did not amount to much. Adoptive parents are now both deceased. Birth mother would be age 64 years old (in 2009) if still alive. No information is known about birth father. Please help me obtain information.

All Other Information: My birth father was in the USAF and stationed in Peterbourough, England where he met my birth mother. My sister was also born there (Sherry Pauline Thomas) we then moved to the US where my brother was born in Maine (Steven Leo Thomas). From there I think we moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and my dad went to either Vietnam or Thailand and left us in the States with my mom and when he came back he came and got us kids and that is the last time I ever saw my mom. He moved us to Maxwell AFB in Montgomery Alabama. My father refuses to give me any information and my sister and brother do not want to find my mother and they are not happy that I do. Any help would be appreciated I remember my mom and have always thought about her and miss her. (Update) I am not sure the age of my birth mother or birth father at the time of my birth. My birth mother had red hair. Not sure of eye color. Birth father was 6’1” tall , he had brown eyes and dark brown hair. I am 5’3” tall, I have brown eyes and dirty blonde hair. I think the Adoption / Delayed Registration of birth took place through courts in Sacramento, California or Montgomery, Alabama. I think I was actually 12 for the delayed registration of birth I know we lived in Little Rock, Arkansas and was picked up from my father and moved to Montgomery, Alabama (Maxwell AFB) from there we moved to Sacramento, California and from there we went to the Philippines and finally to Tampa, Florida where my father retired. All Other Information: I was born 4-20-1965. My mother, Betty Isabel MacKenzie is the 1st child of Phyllis & James William MacKenzie. She was born in England 9-24-1946. My mother and father were never married. I never met him and am not even sure of his name. She told me once that his name is Ray Parfitt, but I don't know if this is true or not. My grandmother told me he may have emigrated to Australia. No one in the family will cofirm his name, but have told me I am the spitting image of him. My mother married an American G.I. named John "Jack" Adelman. He was in the United States Air Force. We moved to America in 1969. The marriage ended in divorce. My mother married Gary Gordon Godman in 1972. I have a court order delayed registration of birth dated 7-21-1980. Abstract of supporting evidence reads "Court Order 1912, Superior Court, Shasta. I was told the adoption record is sealed, although I don't know why. My father's name is not listed on my original or delayed birth certificates.
