All Other Information: I know that my daughter was adopted by a couple (in their 40's) who live in Columbia SC. They had two grown children (1 boy, 1 girl - both in their 20's). The adoptive father is handicapped. I can't remember exactly what - but I think he lost his legs. All Other Information: I would like to find my birth mother, my birth father or my birth siblings. I know I had two older when I was born or any of my birth family. I want nothing except to meet them. I know now my birth mother took me home from the hospital after my birth and relinquished me, weeks later. My birth mother was 5'7" tall. I don't fault her. I know my social worker from Guilford County was named "Linda". I know my birth father was in the Air Force. I have spotty details and I just want to meet as many of my birth family members as possible. (Update) Searching for biological mother, biological father, biological siblings and biological Family as well as relevant medical history. Would like to get as much information on my past as I can. I just recently received my non-identifying information from Guilford County. I learned that my mother was born 9-3-1958. She is 5'7" tall with hazel eyes and blonde hair. I have a half-birth sister who was 18 months old at the time of my birth. Her birthday would be in the vicinity of 9-?-1978 ?. I lived with my birth mother until 4-8-1980 when I was placed in foster care. My birth mother felt that she could not parent two small children alone. When I was born she and her husband were separated and eventually divorced. At the time of my birth my mother had one brother and one half-brother by her mother and one half-brother and half-sister by a marriage of her father. My biological father to my knowledge has never been informed of my existence. He and my birth mother were never married. He was in the Air Force at the time of my conception. He had some college education. My birth mother was from a broken home. Her parents separated when she was around a year old. She lived with her mother until she was 16 years old and then went to live with her father to get to know him better. She lived with her father until she finished high school and then she married. Her husband, like my biological father, was in the Air Force. He being my legal father signed a waiver and consent to the adoption on 4-11-1980. He was in the process of getting a separation and divorce at that time. (Update) I have done DNA testing with ancestory.com.

All Other Information: I have a daughter who has juvenile myoclonic epilepsy that can be hereditary. I was told by my adoptive parents (both died this year) that my biological father never signed the adoption papers which is why the judge held up the adoption process for almost 6 months. All Other Information: I was born 12-7-1980. I was jaundice at birth. I lived in a foster home for a small time. My social worker named me Kyla, it was her granddaughters name. It is also the name I have given my daughter. The adoption angency asked my birth mother if she would like to write a letter and enclose a picture. She did. I have a beautiful letter and a picture. We look a like. I was given history of my birth mother and father. My birth father was married with two boys ages 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. They are both in their 30's now. His wife supported the adoption and came with him to sign papers. I was told my birth father was tall dark and handsome. Must be the cherokee blood line. He was also a highschool drop out in 10th grade. My birth mother was 19 and a highschool graduate. She worked in a textile mill with some of her family members. She was a little over weight and had irregular periods. By the time she found out she was pregnant she hid it. She wanted me to have a mom and dad both. I am desperate to find for medical reasons. My daughter who is 4 has some werid medical issues that I would like more family history to see if this could be related.

I believe I was found at Duke University Hospital and then spent a short amount of time in foster care before being adopted by my adoptive parents on 6-?-1981. I have had a great life, lots of love and a wonderful childhood. My adoptive parents and my adoptive brother have always treated me like their own blood and I would not change a thing about my upbringing. My search for birth family is a quest brought on initially by curiosity but now has grown into the need to feel complete and whole. I was always interested in knowing my background, wanted to know my ethnicity. My girlfriend had bought me a DNA kit just to find out if I was German, lol. Neither of us expected to be matched by DNA to hundreds of people, mostly 3rd -8th cousins. It started a search and has spiraled into a daily job. It is both fascinating and crippling to know I have so much blood related family. I have reached out to some. Been ignored by many but helped by a few. I am hopeful to find answers. I do not harbor any bad feelings to my biological family. I don't even have to know why I was given up. It is after all, better than the other option. I just want to know if I have anyone out there. Do they know about me? Do they want to know me too ? Two of my saddest moments so far was while on ancestry.com. They wanted me to start a family tree and I just cannot do it. I am a lone stump with no branches or leaves. The other is when I was linked to a possible 2nd cousin and I was ignored, my messages were left unanswered. I was in the hospital for four days until I was placed in foster care with my foster mother Virginia Lewis. She lived in Wilson, NC. I found her a few years ago and she said that she did not know anything about my biological family. She said that she one of her son's name David Parker helped to take care of me. He is currently a family physician in Fayetteville, NC. My adoptive family thinks that he could be my biological father because we favor. I have asked him but he says that he do not know anything as well. Mrs. Virginia Lewis died about two years ago. My biological mother did not know who my birth father was. She lived with her mother and brother, who was 28 at the time of my birth, and her father did not live with them. I also know that I was allergic to Cherry juice. All Other Information: We think the baby's original name was Eric Jensen ?. Adopted through LDS Social Services Program, We know the child was a boy and that date of birth, that's pretty much all we have to go on. I'm assuming that he was raised Mormon or LDS considering where they were adopted out of. My brother signed his rights over after much reluctance and a very pushy attorney had convinced him to. Lorrie's family took her from Kansas City area to North Carolina, and the baby was born either there or in South Carolina, not sure of the hospital. The one that sent the letter from the agency was Barry H Drage. Lorrie's (birth mother) birthday is 12-5-1967, Troy (birth father) birthday is 2-24-1966. Lorrie's Dad supposedly has been following where the child is, but won't give any information. His name is Russell W. Jensen. The baby was born 10-28-1984 at 10:43 in the morning and weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. The attorney of record is Robert Cooper, who I assume was with the LDS Social Services. Troy is searching so hard for his child, he just wants to know that he is okay and happy with his life.

All Other Information: I am 37 years old now and I have waited long enough to find my Daughter. I am married but I do not have any other children and unsure about having any children. I'm not sure if that is because I still feel some what guilty for my decision or if its truly because I have always said from that moment until now, I didn't want any children because I don't have the patience. I do feel that God has a purpose for everything, it does not always seem right to us, but it is for Him. I have always told myself that God has worked through me to give a couple a child that they could not conceive on their own, a blessing in so many ways. Even for myself, the experience was definitely a learning one because I choose to have the baby and give up for adoption, instead of terminating the pregnancy. All Other Information: I am looking for my birth son that I put up for adoption in 1986. My birth son was born on 4-14-1986 at 2:20 a.m. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and had blue eyes and blonde hair. I do not remember any birthmarks, but was made aware that he had cut his hand around the age of one so he probably has a scar now. I was 15 years old when he was born I am 5'3" tall, with green eyes and blonde hair. I stayed at Florence Critenton Home for unwed women. All Other Information: (Update) Adrienne was born on 9-6-1989 in a North Carolina hospital. The pregnancy was full-term, normal with no complications. It was a spontaneous, vaginal delivery at 40 weeks gestation. An epidural was used during delivery. Adrienne's condition at birth was described as good with breathing being spontaneous. Her Apgar scores were 8-9. Adrienne was born at 10:50 a.m. weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces. She was 21 inches long. She entered the care of the Children's Home Society directly from the hospital on 9-11-1989. Her growth and development were entirely normal. She was described as a well infant who was alert, could focus and follow, had good tone and head control. She was a cute little girl with big blue eyes and reddish-light brown hair. The birth mother was nineteen years old and was a high school graduate. She had completed one year of college and planned to go back to school. She had not chosen a major but had a strong interest in business. She was a bright young woman who enjoyed reading, writing, and singing. The birth mothers father completed one year of college and was a consultant for a large corporation. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and writing. The birth mother's mother completed one year of college and worked as a secretary. Her hobbies were cooking and reading. The birth mother had a younger sister who was a freshman in college. The birth mother had two paternal aunts who graduated from high school and were secretaries. A maternal aunt completed two years of college and was a nurse. The birth mother's paternal grandfather was a contractor and her paternal grandmother was a homemaker. The birth mothers maternal grandfather was a lineman for an electric company and her maternal grandmother was a homemaker. The birth father was 21 years of age and had completed high school through the GED program. He worked in construction. He enjoyed woodworking and drawing. The birth father was in good general health. He was allergic to bee stings and had shots to counteract the allergic reaction from being stung.
