All Other Information: Although there was no necessity, I was drugged. When I woke up I was told that my baby boy had been born dead. I asked to see him and was told No, because it would be too traumatic. I said then I would like to bury him and was told the body had already been disposed of. I was all alone so I always wondered what had really happened. This was the morning after the birth. I now think my baby was sold on the black market. I have been searching for approximately 20 years off and on and it has become urgent as of late due to problems with proving my identity. Currently the only record of my birth is under my birth name Jennifer Leish McGee a name I have never formally used which makes being a functional adult very difficult can't renew driver’s license, or get state ID etc). So I am searching for reasons of both a practical and personal nature. Any help would be appreciated. I was rushed in hospital on 9-30-1973, we were on vacation in new York and I was due 10-9-1973 and I went into labor and was bleeding and brought to Northern Dutchess Hospital. We were told the baby died. no death certificate, my husband and my aunt said they saw him alive and he had dark hair and was perfect. when I inquired they said impossible. my sister in law worked at this hospital Barbara J Veach Green and always told us let it go. I have always had a void. 7-?-1995 Sally Jesse Raffeal aired a show about black marking babies in Rhinebeck, NY Northern Dutchess hospital. No one will release that segment to this day. In 11-?-1997 I went to the hospital and asked for records when they final came boy were they a cross out over mess and full of lies. The drs. that took care of me where Fisher, Newman and Lynne ? No records ever found in state of NY. my husband worked for sears in FL and had health insurance. No one has ever been able to help me. My aunt, my husband my sister in law (who’s wedding) are all deceased now. a mother knows and feels a child’s death, up to going in the hospital the baby was active. Other Information: I gave birth when 8 months pregnant on 8-30-1974 at 8:37 p.m. at Underwood Hospital in Woodbury, New Jersey. I saw my birth son born, I heard him cry. He looked like he weighed around 5-6 lbs. A few minutes after he was born the Anesthesiologist asked Dr. Love if he should "gas me"; Dr. Love said yes. I was dazed for no known reason. As they wheeled me out of the room I asked to see the baby in the window while going down the hall. For a moment I saw him lying in the bassinet with no tubing or oxygen. I saw his name on the bed. I woke the next morning and asked where my baby was and no-one would answer me. The Dr. eventually came in and said that he had died at 5:00 a.m. He said he was small. They sent me home. I believed the Dr. at the time but for 38 years always felt something was not right. I became a nurse and got the medical records from the hospital and they were extremely incomplete. They never gave me a death certificate. When I finally got one after applying for it, there was no seal on it which made it invalid. I had a feeling that my birth son was sold on the black market. I have no real proof, just a mother's gut feeling. A psychic told me without knowing me at all that my son was sold to a family in San Diego, CA but not to look for him yet. She said he was doing well. I had two other psychics tell me my birth son was OK and to stop worrying. I never told any of them I even had a birth son and they told me this without knowing me at all. For years I have had strong feelings my birth son would find me. I see him in my head knocking at my door. He would have his dad's big eyes. I hired an attorney to exhume the body and it has been a year now waiting. I just found out that it has been too long to be able to get a sample or any proof to test or even see if anyone was buried. I was told an infant that small, his bones did not calcify therefore nothing most likely would be found. I'm back to square one not knowing the truth if he is dead or alive! I feel maybe if he is alive, someone will tell him the truth and he may try to find me so I am reaching out in this way to make myself easier to find. My birth son would be 38 years old now. All Other Information: My mom remembers giving birth to a baby in kings county hospital on 4-?-1975 ?. My mother was very young at time she recalls nurses at the hospital made her sign a lot of papers and when it was time for her to be released she had no baby and was told by hospital staff that her baby died. My mother heard her baby crying and was told by staff she had a boy, my mom knows her baby was alive but she was too young to do anything. All Other Information: I believe that my birth daughter was a black market baby. The night that she was born I was told she was small but healthy. They did not allow me to see or hold her when she was born. I was told that I could see her after she was cleaned up. A nurse came into my room around midnight and told me how well she was doing. I told her that I still had not seen her, and she asked me if I wanted to go to the nursery to see her. She took me to the nursery. My baby had a lot of dark hair, and was a beautiful ink, not red at all. The next morning I was told that my baby had died. The doctor seemed quite surprised that I had been down to the nursery to see her. I was released from the hospital less than 12 hours after I gave birth. They tried to talk us out of having a service. We were given a burial plot, and never received a hospital bill. Later all records of me giving birth at that hospital had disappeared. Records of burial at the funeral home also are missing, and someone else is buried in the plot that our child was supposed to be buried in. Later when we tried to get information from the owner of the funeral home, he contacted an attorney and told us that he would not talk to us any further, but he also stated that if anything happened to our baby after he interred her he was not responsible. We were told later that the doctor, and the man from the funeral home were related through marriage. We were never financially able to pursue this much further. I have done DNA testing just in case anyone ever tells her that the parents that raised her were not her birth parents, and she tries to search for us.

All Other Information: I am searching for my birth twin. I am not certain if it was a male or female. From the information we have, it seems that my mother carried twins without being informed that she was carrying twins. We have multiple reasons to believe this. My mother was 18 years old, married, had a child already and was on welfare. She had to apply through the county for her care during the pregnancy. We have every reason to believe that the other child was likely sold as a "black / gray" market baby due to the lack of information available that would come close to matching dates / times / places. My mother was told at her first OB / GYN appt. that from the levels of her HCG hormones, that it appeared she was pregnant with twins. This same doctor had a heart attack and retired before her next check up. A new doctor took over her care and never mentioned it again. When she went in for her C-section, a family friend called the hospital to find out what my mother had. The nurse told her friend (very excitedly) that my mother had twins. Directly following that, her friend over heard muffled talking and then the nurse came back on the phone and says "I'm sorry, one died, you'll have to call back later" and then hung up the phone immediately. My father witnessed 2 babies being brought down from the delivery OR. The nurse brought out 1 baby, took it directly to the back of the nursery, out of sight and then several minutes later, the nurse brought another baby and presented this one (me) to my father. The first baby he saw was alive and crying. We've researched deaths on this date and around it but none were recorded for infants. Up until about 5 or 6 years of age, my mother said that I would wake up from sleep crying, insisting that I had to find my sister. My mother would explain to me that I didn't have one but she said I would argue that I did have a sister and I had to find her. (pretty interesting for that young of child) After researching what we could. I was the only birth in Shannon Hospital. that morning (7:43 a.m. to be exact...or as they told my mother 7:45 a.m.). As a matter of fact, the next baby was not born until around lunch time that day. I have only found 1 person that was born at 7:45 a.m. on that day in Tom Green county and I'm pretty certain she is not who we're looking for. I don't know where else to search or what else to do considering that if this all took place, it was done illegally and without my mother's knowledge / consent. The doctor who delivered me is still alive and working to do this day. I don't know what to do but I do know that I would really like some answers not just for me, but for my mother. She would've never given a child up but to me it seems that someone thought she was too young to have that many children considering she was already on welfare. They even made sure that she had a tubal ligation as well so that she could not have anymore children.

All Other Information: Baby boy was born 7-26-1979. Born at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Jefferson County. Maybe this can’t be put out there but I have a weird feeling about something and have had it for a while. I was pregnant with a child and was told when I was 6 months pregnant that he wouldn't live due to anencephaly. But I had to carry him the whole 9 months. My baby kicked till the day he was born and my husband and I was told not to look at him because he would look awful. We did have him buried but I couldn't go to funeral because I was in hospital, but my husband and family went to funeral. They had me so doped up, I don't remember anything. I was in labor for 28 hours. I wasn't but 19 years old and not real smart on this kind of stuff so we just took the doctors word. If my child was not going to live, why did I have to stay in labor that long and why is there not a birth or death certificate ?. Maybe that is how it’s supposed to be but all these years I've had different feelings about it. When I went to the doctor one time my mom was with me and he told her she couldn't come to the back with me. (Update) Birth father was 32 years old at time of birth. 6'1" tall, with green eyes and light brown hair. Birth mother was 5'5" tall, with hazel / blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.
