All Other Information: From my understanding my mother's name at the time I was born was Virginia Martinez. She attend school at Seton High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was aproximately 15 or 16 at the time of my birth. I had a person research information on my mother and she took a leave of absence prior to my birth and then returned to school after my birth. I am most interested in finding my birth father. I have no information to go on except that he was 21 years of age when I was placed for adoption. He was approximately 5'6" - 5'7" in height and of medium brown complexion. From the stories that I have been told my birth father tried to fight for custody of me, but he married just prior or just shortly after my birth and the Catholic Church thought he did not need an already made family and that it was best to give me up. All Other Information: I did not give my birth daughter up for adoption she was taken from me at birth. I was a runaway about 14 1/2 or 15 years old. The hospital administation told me she died and could not let me see her body, it was illegal to have a private funeral and she had to be buried in an unmarked communal grave. Birth parents left CA. to go to WY. Father-in -law arranged with a couple to bring us to WY. The couple gave us a Jeep to drive and got us an apartment. Someone paid the hospital and GYN bills in cash. When I inquired who paid the bills they said it was cash and they had no record of the person who paid. I found this out when I tried to make an installment payment at the hospital and GYN office. Current search for birth/death records of child produced no vital statistics record of live birth or death. Child was supposed to have lived 18 hours after birth as I was told. I delivered her myself at the hospital she had jet black hair and blue eyes and was approximately 17 or 18 inches long. She cried at birth so I know she was breathing when born. Possible adoptive parent's information (couple who brought us to Wyoming) their first names I think was Nancy and Jerry (so many years ago). Jerry wore glasses, 5'11" tall, sandy colored hair, eye color unknown, slender, he worked for my father-in- law who was a trainer for boxers in Seal Beach, California. Nancy 5'5" tall, brown hair, eye color unknown, slender. Birth mother and father divorced in 1990. Birth mother has not remarried. Adoptee's birth parent information: Father Age 18 or 19. Mother 14 or 15. Father's race: American Indian, Scottish, Hispanic. Mother's race: Irish, English, Welsh. Both birth father (11th grade) and mother (9th grade) had not completed high school.
