All Other Information: I am looking for Raymond Stewart Vanlandingham I have recently been in contact with my older brother, who was also adopted and found a wealth of information on my mother. My mother was a federal prisoner, and may have been at a half-way house. My father lived in Kentucky. My mother went to West Virginia, and a foster couple there wanted to adopt me. My mother took me to Cincinnati, and I ended up in the Hamilton County Job and Family Services adoption unit. My mother had been using the alias Angelia Harris, which is what her name is listed as (provided by West Virginia Vital Statistics). Little is known at this time about my father. My mother was apparently close with my fathers dad. My mother frequently was in trouble with the law. Despite this, she graduated college with an associates degree, was a free lance writer and a book keeper. She died in New London CT as Angelia C Gary on 7-16-1998 of an overdose. My mother's obituary states that she is survived by two sons, Shawn and Shannon Harris, of Middletown, CT. Her inmate number was 01267-179 Please include my brother, David, on all emails. All Other Information: I was born in Elkins, West Virginia at Davis Memorial Hospital on 2-26-1982. my birth mother was said to be 15 and a half years old when she had me. I believe she went to Elkins high school and would have prob been a freshman the year I was born. I was placed for adoption after birth to her parents my biological grandparents and was with them til roughly age one and a half or so then placed with Burlington United Methodist Services and adopted right before I turned two by Keith and Linda Miller. I do not know her name or any info about her. I have been searching for years and would apreticiate any tips that anyone might have. I believe she would be about fourty six and a half now or so if all the info I have been told is correct over the years. I would love to make contact with her. this has been my life dream. I have no bitterness or resentments of any kind toward her or my biological grandparents. I just have always wanted to know more about my story and how I came to be I would also love to get some medical background info as well. I have had some health problems over the years and know nothing about my medical history. I know the adoption agency made contact with my biological grandmother years ago when I was about eighteen or so I want to say and they said that she said this was the hardest thing that they ever had to do and she just still struggles with it. that she was just not ready to talk to me at that point in time. I know she is getting older and I am loosing time. please if you are out there, talk to me it is all I ever wanted in life is to talk to u. I am very pleased with the way my life has turned out by just want to get some of my questions answered medical and otherwise. I hold no bitterness.
