All Other Information: I was told growing up my adoption was private through and attorney. I was told my birth mother had several children already and her husband went away to war and while he was gone, she messed around and got pregnant with me. Through my searching I have found the attorneys name was Grayson and Grayson. The doctor who delivered me was a doctor Bellows who is now deceased. I have come upon several possible names: Baby Girl Grant or Baby Girl Rucker. Not sure how true the story is that I was told but I do know my dad always told me growing up if I ever wanted to find out all I would have to do is contact the Greenville County Court House and they will let me know. Well, I have done this writing several letters to Judge Kitteridge who stated my case warrants merit but unless I hire an attorney and go through the courts there is nothing he can do. They even sent me my journal roll # (file #). I feel that I should not have to pay to find out where I came from, when in all reality, anyone who works at the courthouse can probably go to my file and find out more about me then I even know. (Update) I have blue eyes, and red hair.

All Other Information: Adoption went through Catholic Social Services in Charleston, SC on broad street by father Duffy. I also have a letter that was told came from them foster care I was at before given to my adopted parents. It starts out " To their adopted parents of Susie". It is not signed and is 4 pages long and very detailed. Was told it was from my foster parents I was with from it say. I will attempt to let you know her from 3-30 to 4-25. It's a very detailed 4 page letter with no signature. Almost as if I came from my birth mother. seems to be missing pages I thought there was 6 pages when I was shown them letter but when my adopted mother died and got everything so far I only have 4 I'm still going through stuff to try and find it or maybe that would have gave me a name to my parents and my adopted mother didn't want me to know. I know I was told by my adopted mothers son that when they picked me up it was in Swansee, SC at them old hospital or some kind of place like that he know exactly where it is and then name of it. I was taken to their Catholic Charities at age 15 I'd say to ask any questions I had . Well was told that my birth mother was 16 years old at that time and my birth father didn't want to be a birth father and her parents wasn't raising a baby for her and let me ruin her life. I have there's letter at what I have found and then paper from there lawyer, and paper from Catholic Charities. They lawyer's paper says here is your daughters order of adoption signed by judge Robert R Mallard on 6-1-1971. Which is strange there events before I was with my adopted parents and then signing of them adoption papers that was 1 year and 3 month after I was born then to be with someone from 3-4 to 4-25. Just weird to me. They Catholic Charities paper reads enclosed is her baby is male certificate for Felicia Michele no last name and this will complete all their material to make her yours signed by (rev.) Thomas Duffy ACSW director. Case workers name is Mrs. Rosemary V. Pelton. They assistance to director is miss Margaret Bayly .signed on 6-25-1971. (Update) I have done DNA testing with Ancestry. (Update) I am 5'3" tall.

All Other Information: I possibly have a brother who is a couple of years older than me that was also put up for adoption. To my understanding he was adopted before I was born. To the best of my knowledge my birth mother was also an adoptee. I have vague memories of my mother. Living in a mobile home in a very small trailer park (3 or 4 trailers). I also remember getting in trouble by my mother’s boyfriend at the time for riding my big-wheels in our driveway and as my punishment having to stand in the corner in my bedroom to sleep for the night. I also remember something about a uniform, police or security. Not sure if it was my mothers or her boyfriends at the time. I was born with medium brown hair, sort of curly, at the time, with hazel eyes. I do know that the adoption took place thru the court house and an attorney. I can't remember the attorneys name but do know that he is deceased. This was, in my opinion, an irregular adoption. The attorney was supposed to be a friend to the family. I lived with my grandparents off and on until I was adopted. I also remember playing with matches in their home and setting my toy box on fire.

All Other Information: Looking for birth mother or any half-birth siblings or birth family members. Any help would be wonderful. I know the birth mother's first name is Julia and that she was born in ?-?-1951. Probably lived in Virginia near an air force bace. Had a half-sister she was living with that gotten married around two weeks before my birth. On Tuesday 3-7-1972, she left via bus to go somewhere else (another town-don't know which one) to live with friends. However when the bus reached somewhere near Conway about 1 pm, she got off the bus and took a cab to the hospital where she gave birth. Birth mother had sandy-colored hair, 5'6" tall, did secretarial work. She and her half-sister lived in different airbases in the US and outside the country. She entered a junior college after high school and took a business course. Her father died in the war-we think Korean but maybe Vietnam. She started dating a friend of her father's after his death and this friend is listed as my birth father. Supposedly my birth father was an officer and pilot in the air force and we think was serving in Vietnam at time of my birth. We understand Julia's mother died giving birth to her. Julia's half-sister is five years older than her. Information states the half-sister was 26 and Julia was 21 at my birth. Dr. that delivered my was the doctor on call at hospital. Again, since I was born in Conway, South Carolina, a small town, I believe there was only one hospital there at the time.

All Other Information: My birth mother had a tubal ligation just days after I was born. My adoption was private. My delivering pediatrician was Dr. Clovis Pierce who is still practicing part-time in Greenville, SC @ North Fields Medical Center. Learned 7 years ago that my delivering pediatrician and my adopted father were army buddies and that's how my adopted parents were able to adopt me without waiting on any waiting lists. I called the State of SC, and they told me that they wouldn't have any of my non-identifying info in their computer system bc my adoption was private and that the attorney who dealth with my adoption would have that info but since it's been so long that they would have transfered my info to the courts which I would only have access to through an attorney suing the courts and even then it's questionable. I also contacted The State of GA since my adopted family were residents there at the time of my adoption, and they said that they couldn't find me in their computer system which the lady mentioned I should have been in there since that's where my adoption was finalized on 3-24-1975. (Update) I took a DNA test with 23andme and have a 3rd cousin match. She actually reached out to me and her entire family is from Aiken, SC. Her dad thinks that I am the adoptee that one of his dad's brothers put up for adoption. His dad had 6 brothers so the search could take awhile. Her dad's last name is Wells.

All Other Information: My biological father John Edward Green. Lived in or around Lakeland, Florida in ?-?-1976. White, blue eyes and blonde hair, 6'3"+/- tall. Scar on thigh may have went by Leroy or Johnny. My birth mother was working at an Ace Hardware in Lakeland, Florida when she met my birth father. They dated until she was 6 months along and they got in a fight and my birth mother left the state. He knew my birth mother was pregnant with me and seemed to want me. Birth mother suspects he was married. My birth mother and I have been DNA tested at 23andme, FTDNA, and ancestry.com. Most of my maternal matches are coming up in NC and SC. Birth mother says she had no knowledge of him living in these areas. He may have never lived there but he has family there. I have a very close DNA 2nd cousin from SC. I am 36 years old and I have spent more money than you can imagine searching for him. I have been looking for him since I was 22 years old. I have health issues that are unexplained they may or may not be genetic. I had my first stroke at the age of 18, and have had two since then. I have had many TIA's and now have epilepsy. I would love to see my birth father. I am told I look just like him. My birth mother is barely 5’2” tall and I am 5’9” tall. Birth mother has dark eyes and dark hair (though she was likely a bottled red head at the time of my conception). I have blue eyes like my birth father and blonde hair. If he does not want a meeting or if he has passed I have prepared myself for that. I would certainly hope I could at least have a photo or two of him and know my birth father's family history or medical conditions, etc. I have 3 children as well. All Other Information: I Believe She Is Searching Also. (In Adoption Forums) It was a private adoption through my doctor. Dr. Stanmore Reed / Dr. Hutchinson. On her birth certificate she was born under baby Rogers. I don't know if she just stopped searching, but I am trying to find her to let her know I am searching as well. She is listed in adoption forums as "SC Girl" I have posted 2 messages for her and left contact numbers as well. I am very anxious to finally meet her. I never got to see her when she was born.
