All Other Information: I was born in Minneapolis, MN on 1-20-1981 to Janice Marie (Feist) Carlson. I inherited the surname Carlson from my birth mother’s husband, who is not my biological father. My birth mother was living in Denver, CO from the summer of 1977 to the spring of 1980. In the spring of 1980 she move the family to Minneapolis, MN where I was born. Some family members say my birth father was a married man from Denver and other family members say that my birth father was from Minnesota. My birth mother past away in 1987 and I was adopted at the age 7 by a wonderful couple Bill and Mary Stine in San Rafael, CA. I kept in contact with my biological mother side of the family my whole childhood and still to this day and most are less than forth coming about who my biological father is. (Update) My birth mother was 35 years old when I was born, which seems to be more a generation gap than others. She had green eyes and brown hair. I have brown eyes and black hair. I'm not sure about my birth father, But I assume he had brown eyes and black hair. I'm not sure how tall my birth mother was but if I had to guess, I would say about 5’3” tall. I am 5’11” tall. I have done DNA testing at 23andme, Ancestry.com and FTDNA. I just got my results for 23andme, so I am starting to use all three DNA testing sites and I have also uploaded my raw DNA to GEDmatch.

All Other Information: My birth mothers name was Christine (unsure of spelling) I know she was young, between 16-19 years old when I was born. She was not married. My adoptive parents hired a private investigator to find her (over 15 years ago), he managed to track her to Georgia where she said she was learning to be a truck driver. She told the adoption agency that she would write me a letter but I never got one. I have one adopted sister who was also adopted but of no blood relation to me. She has found her birth mother when my adoptive parents hired a private investigator to try to find both our birth parents. They were really trying to find out as much as they could about my medical history because I started to become very sick, but no luck. I am a medical emergency search. My adoptive parents (and now I) have been trying to get medical history about my birth family since I was young. I have low thyroidism, bipolar, diabetes, and last week a lump was found under my chin that will be getting biopsied on Tuesday 5-27-2014. My doctor has told me repeatedly how helpful it would be for my medical treatment if I knew my family medical history. I have been sick almost my whole life and I would love any information that might help me improve my quality of life going ahead, thank you so much. (Update) I have no information about my birth father. . I am short, 5' tall, with I have light brown eyes and I had very red hair when I was young, which has gotten more auburn as I have aged. All Other Information: Placing Nathan for adoption was the hardest thing I have ever done, but I also knew it would be best for him. I was 16 years old and couldn't take care of myself. I went two weeks over-due, developed toxiemia and had an emergency c-section.Fortunately,He was a healthy 9 1/2 lbs baby. I asked that he be the couples first child, as he was my first. All Other Information: My birth mother gave me up for adoption at appx. 27 years of age. I believe, her and my biological father were friends (they met in a support group) but went their seperate ways after I was concieved. She married to a man and had three children, Katie, Joey, and Jonny, by the year 1994. It was in that year she asked my adoptive parents, through a letter, if she could send me a card on my birthday every year. They said no. It was a closed adoption. That is all I know of her to this present day. I am 5'4" tall, brunette, hazel eyes (brown green)-blue at the time of my adoption, I have a slight gap in my teeth, a white complexion (easily burnt), I am unaware of my true ethnic backround but I am white. (Update) The ages of my siblings in 1994 where, Katie-age three, Joey-age two, and Jonny-age one. The letter birth mother wrote, dated 5-?-1994, she mentioned. She had been married for four years. Her daughter, Katie, was a lot like I was- as my adoptive parents had previously described me to my birth mother-at Katie's age. My birth mother describes that she was a petite child, orange was her favorite color, she was somewhat of a tom-boy while still in-touch with her femininity. She was in volleyball, gymnastics, loved to ice skate, was a cheerleader, and on the dance team. She has brothers (does not mention how many or whether or not she has sisters). I resemble her the most, even out of the children she has now. She knows my adoptive name is Teri. This one letter is the only thing I posses containing any physical facts and/or proof she exists.

All Other Information: Open adoption through CHSM, had asked that she be placed with a Catholic Family, with older sibling. Contact with adoptive family until approximately age 12. She has one older (also adopted from another birth mother) named Danny who was about 2 years older at the time of adoption. Adoptive parents conceived their third child, a boy named Mike who was approximately 5-8 years younger. She was born with lots of black hair and dark eyes, but photos exchanged show she became strawberry blonde with blue eyes and fair skin. Was told shortly after the adoption became final that the family intended to move out of Minnesota, but never told where or if it happened. Was contacted by CHSM shortly after her 18th birthday to inquire about any health / mental health issues that I was aware of on my side or her birth fathers side, but with no explaination of why they asked. All Other Information: This child was in an open adoption .the adoptive parents knew three weeks in advance they would be getting this child and new it was to be a little girl..adoptive parents sent pictures of this child till the age of twelve years..then stopped all contact..they promised she would be told of the adoption at the age of recognition with the understanding of no contact after that per thier request..they thought twelve years was enough of open adoption..we have no way way of knowing this child was ever told about the adoption..the birth parents lived in Minnesota and the adoptive parents took child to another State of Washington..we believe Lutheran Social Service may have been acting on behalf of the Birth Family,the adoptive parents Lawyer set it up through Lutheran Social Services..mother was young and still in school at the time of childs Birth...Birth Parents and Grand Mother met with family prior to giving birth..Adoptive familys Lawyer did not even come to the State of Minnesota papers were signed in Minnesota at Lutheran Social Services. Birth Family believe papers were signed to Attorney Shrybman via Lutheran Social Services.as it was the go between Agency of Mr.Shrybman and his Contacts there..child was 'Moved Out of State' on this adoption.. mother has some adoption paperwork that she has saved will be sending you this through email attachments.if my Daughter reads this Please Contact Me ..I Love You..
