All Other Information: My Uncle has asked for my help in locating a birth sister he has. His mother was shipped from Iowa to Montana to a Catholic parish for the duration of her pregnancy at the age of 16 years old. Once the baby was born and she returned home she became pregnant again and gave birth to my uncle exactly 1 year to the day. His long lost birth sister and him both share the same birth day!. We believe she could be living in Washington. We have no name and most likely she has no idea of her birth family. With clues and research we believe she was born while her mother lived at St. Matthews church in Kalispell, Montana and the only hospital in that area is now called Kalispell Regional Hospital but back in 1960 it was called Kalispell General Hospital. This is all the info we have. Also the woman may have blue eyes.

All Other Information: Billie Jo and her husband Francis moved to Butte from Birmingham Alabama with their 11 children so Francis could work as a contract miner. Billie Jo became pregnant by Jim W (birth father- who had also come from Alabama to work in the mines). Billie Jo (birth mother) then divorced Francis while she was pregnant with me and married Oscar Olson several years her senior (she was 39 in 1967 and he was 51). The youngest half-sibling at the time of my birth was 5 years old and the oldest was 21. As Jim W (birth father) had returned to Alabama, Oscar signed the relinquishment papers in his place. One clue is that Oscar's ex-wife's name was Ellen Williams and she moved to California with their children. She died in California. I was adopted on 9-16-1967 in Butte where I had been living with a foster family (last name Hyland?). The adoption was handled by Child Welfare Services and the social worker's name was John Brown.

All Other Information: Looking for any and all biological relatives, primarily for medical history. I was a single birth, and put up for adoption via a Lutheran agency in Helena. I was with a foster family for the time between the hospital and being placed. My parents got me when I was 9 days old. I've been told that my mother was a tall, blond, and a nurse, and that my father was married but not to my mother. Since adoption agencies were notorious for fabricating stories for the purpose of protecting the birth parents, I don't place a lot of faith in the truth of that story. Here's the source of my urgency: I have a lump in a breast, and my doctors have said that under "normal" circumstances they would use family history to dictate the next step in treatment (thankfully, so far it seems to be benign). So you can see why aggressive medical treatment may be called for soon, and why aggressive inquiry into family medical history may be needed. Please help. I do not want to put anyone in discomfort, and I do want to assure the folk involved I am not interested in money, organ transplant, bone marrow, blood, a 'replacement' family, or any other horrors they may envision. My life is full and happy, and I am grateful for the life I've been given with my family!

My adoptive parents went to pick me up and were told to go to lunch as my birth mother was still there and getting ready to leave. My adoptive parents told me the story that Dr. Hall told my adoptive father that my birth mother was a teacher, single, and that I was her second child. I am unsure how much of that is true. MT, Silver Bow County, Birth Index, 1890-1970, N-T has the my adopted father's name hand written in as Schwennker, Warren. The Index number is 69304. This is out of sequence with the other birth babies with a S last name. The only other baby girl born on 8-8-1968 has a birth father by the name William Cele (Caleb) Evatt. (Update) I am 5'6.75" tall, with green eyes, although they were blue at birth. My hair is brownish red now, at birth my hair was red. My birth parents info is unknown at this time.

Both adoptive parents are deceased so unable to gain additional information from them. Birth mother was 18 years old at time of birth, possible Native American, black hair, hazel eyes, dropped out of high school. Birth father was tall, thin, red hair, graduated. Infant was placed into foster care & adopted at 3 months of age. Unknown if infant was placed in foster home at birth or if state took infant from parents & placed into foster home. (Update) Karen's eyes are dark brown & hair is also dark brown. (Going grey prematurely at 42 fully grey.) Height is 5'6" tall, Karen has just been denied a petition from the court to unseal records & allow Karen to look at them for medical information. Judge's reason was "birth mother was a minor". This new information would show that the birth mother was a minor & the information Karen had previously received said she was 18, 19 at delivery. If the non-identifying information on age is incorrect it's hard to tell what else may be incorrect? Height of birth parents in unknown. Original non identifying information stated birth father was very tall with red hair.

All Other Information: About me: born 7-23-1969 weighing 8 lbs 2 1/2 oz. after a 22 hr labor. Lewis L. Bock was my examining MD on 7-27-1969. I was put into a foster home. I attended the Garberson Clinic regularly. Physicians there were Lewis L. Bock, MD and James R. Beaty, MD. The foster parents had a 2 year old daughter and foster mother was about 7 months pregnant. Foster father was born in 1940 an was an accountant for "?" Utilities. He recieved a B.S. at UM in Missoula, Mt.. Foster mother was born in 1941, recieved her B.S. in "?", ND. They married in 1965 and their last name ends with a 'G'. My Birth mother was 15 at the time of my birth. Relinquishment and Affidavit of Waiver and Consent to adoption papers were signed on 7-24-1969 before a notary, reasons noted as "too young to keep the baby and need to continue her education". It is not known if she ever found out the sex of the baby. The Custody Order was dated 8-4-1969. My Birth father was born 4-20-1951. He was 6' tall, dark hair, green eyes, of German decent, and a senior in high school. His father died of a heart attack, his mother was "a very large woman", and he had 3 older brothers and 1 younger. He often got into fights, beat up a bus driver, was quick tempered, was in a car accident in which he received a head injury that caused headaches and eye crossing. On 9-26-1969 I was placed into the care of Larry and Joan Sundheim on a trial adoptive basis. Report to the court in the matter of the Adoption of Baby Girl Darcy by Larry and Joan Sundhiem was typed out and dated 5-4-1970. Adoption was finalized 5-15-1970. The Sundheim's attorney was Ward Swanson of Cooke, Moulton, Bellingham & Longo. Mt Division of Records and Statistics document dated 5-29-1970, No. 122144, signed by John C. Wilson and B. Harbaugh, for certified copy for Lynn Noelle Sundheim 69-005828 was received by Mr. and Mrs. Larry R. Sundheim. I am a stay at home mom of 7 children and soon to be 5 grand babies.
