All Other Information: I lived in Jackson, Michigan. Adoptive mother died in Jackson 9-?-1976. At 16 years old my adoptive father died on 1-?- 1977 I got a call from my birth mother. That is when I found out I was adopted. She told me who she was and I could come live with her. It was all too much to handle so I stayed where I was at. With a Bessie Essix (Miltons girlfriend). That was the 1st and last time I spoke to her. 1996 I moved to little Rock, Arkansas. While living there I began searching for her. The closest I came was a clerk had a birth certificate she was sure it was me but I had one piece off information wrong and she would not give it to me or tell me who my birth mother was. 2016 I went to see My adoptive mother Mary Ella Ryans family, I was told that my adoptive father was my birth father. I was told they both took a trip and came back to Michigan with me as an infant in 1961. He traveled a lot. Had many girlfriends. One of them got pregnant and was not able to take care of the baby so he and his wife came a got me. (Update) I am 6’2” tall, with brown eyes and black hair. Milton Cobbs was 35 or 36 years old, he was born in ?-?-1925. He was 5’10” tall. Do not know how old Mary Brown was.

My mother gave birth to a baby girl, who she called Sandy Layne, on 2-16-1967 ?, I believe around the 16th or possibly a little later. My mom is originally from Dallas, Texas but moved to Eldorado, Arkansas for her high school years. She spent her pregnancy at Florence Crittenton, a home for unwed mothers that was located in Little Rock, Arkansas. She gave birth at a hospital in Little Rock that was affiliated with the home, she cannot remember the name of the hospital though. She does not know the name of the agency that placed the baby, or even if the baby was adopted. The last and only time that she saw her was at the hospital. Girl has light brown hair, blue/green eyes, turned up nose and high cheekbones. Very fair skin, no freckles, fine hair and almond shaped eyes. Also looking for possible foster parents who may know more about the adoption than ultimate adoptive parents. Girl was adopted at 18 months, was presumably in foster care for an unspecified time before adoption or may have remained with birth relatives until 18 months of age. Was wearing a green Neiman Marcus dress at the time of first meeting with adoptive parents. May involve deceased Reverend Dr. Dale Cowling and his ministry, who orchestrated the adoption in 1-?-1969. Adoptive parents of the girl were Texas natives and moved from Little Rock to Texas just after the adoption. Adoptive parents remember the name Melissa Alana Hale as being noted as the girl's name on some adoption documents but are unsure of the true name of the girl. All Other Information: I have found my birth mother. My birth father and brother (could be a full blooded brother ?) most likely do not know of my existence. Kathy was in school at the time at Draughn Business school in Little Rock and attended the Church of Christ at 6th and Izard in Little Rock, AR. From what I have been told by my baunt Katie (Kathy's twin sister), Kathy met my father with a group of friends through church. I just recently found out about my brother who was relinquished as well. I'm assuming that he was born a year before me, as my aunt Katie swears I was born in ?-?-1967 since she remembers that pregnancy. She doesn't know of my brother, and at this time thinks that I'm the only one. I don't want to tell her about him until I have more information and/or have found him, as this would hurt her very badly (she and Kathy are twins). My adoption was a private adoption and I was 6 days old when my aparents brought me home from St. Vincent Infirmary on 6-18-1968. I was born with curly red hair and blue eyes - now hazel / green. I have three children (ages 9, 7 and 2) who would love to meet their grandfather and their uncle - in time. (Update) Birth brothers birth name is James Ray Lindsay, dob was 2-4-1970, no birth father listed for him. As for my birth father, the punitive father listed is Thomas Fuller, age 39 at the time of my birth in 1968 which would make him approximately 79 years old now, as I am now 41 years of age since my original posting. Also, my children's ages are now 15, 13 and 8 and they would like to meet their biological grandfather and uncle if at all possible. (Update) Birth mother was 21 years old at the time of my birth, unless the info given for then adoption was not accurate, of course. the lawyers saying my birth mother was in some type of community or junior college that may not have been related to the University of Arkansas at all, something starting with a "B" ?.
