Both were army men from Ft. McPherson in Atlanta on way to or from VietNam in 1969 or so. My Mom said she never lived anywhere near DC but my parents divorced when I was 5 so I never knew. My great-grandmother Sara Sue King gave birth to a son sometime no later than 1958, probably around 1956 / 1957 in Virginia. While she was pregnant she lived in a home for mothers who intended to give their babies up for adoption in Virginia. The home was about an hour to an hour and a half away from New Port News, VA. He is the younger half-brother of my grandmother who was born 9-29-1953 and she was about 3-5 when her brother was born, and was too little to know what was going on until later.
