All Other Information: (Update) I was born at Southwestern Clinic Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma on 1-7-1970 and given the name Linda Maria Weibley (however you will see that I have found some controversy as to my actual birth name. Linda Maria Weibley is the name listed on the actual copy of the adoption documents that I received from my adoptive parents). I believe I was born at Southwestern Clinic Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma because of a news clipping I Found in the Lawton Constitution on 1-8-1970 announcing the birth of a baby girl that matched my birth statistics.( dob, weight, birth time) . This baby girl shows to have been born to parents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Weidley not Weibley (could have been a misprint by the paper) who lived at 1713 S. 4th Street in Lawton, OK. I also found an additional news clipping that list a hospital admittance by a Mrs. Ralph Weibley who resides at 713 S. 4th in Lawton on 9-24-1969 with admittance reason of medial. She would have been pregnant with me at that time. (No telling witch address is correct 1713 or 713 S. 4th) Another news clipping I found in the Lawton constitution dated 5-14-1970 was an official notice posted in the Lawton Constitution announcing a hearing for the termination of parental rights for a Ralph Weidley. The child that is listed in the notice is Linda Marie Weidley with the dob of 1-7-1970. The case number listed in the Lawton Constitution was JFJ-70-40. The court was the District Court in Comanche County. Hearing date was 5-28-1970 11:00 a.m. Another document that I have is the official court document from my adoption proceedings. In these documents I am listed as Linda Maria Weibley (I also have an old report card from before I was adopted from when I was in foster care that has my name hand written as Linda Weibly). The adoption was completed on 11-3-1978 in the District Court of Oklahoma County. My parent's attorney was William L Dean and the judge who heard the case was Joe S. Wallace. At this time my name was changed to Lynda Marie Walker. The last document that I have is a death certificate for a Ralph L. Weibley Partial SS # or XXX-30-2943 of Silver Springs, Florida. Born 12-28-1937 Deceased 12-10-2007 which would have made him 33 when I was born. The death announcement list 2 children Ralph Wibley Jr. and Bonnie D. Weibley. It also list a 3rd person Pamela D. My birth daughter was born in St. Anthony's Hospital at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the morning of 7-9-1970. She weighed about 8 lbs., I think. It is hard to remember all the details after this many years. I was kicked out of my home and forced to sign the legal papers required to give her up for adoption a week or two later. I married at age 26 and have had three sons who are all adults now, and I have five grandchildren now. I've been looking for my birth daughter through online registries for at least seven years. My eyes and hair were brown. I was uncertain of which of two boys was the birth father at the time. Now, I believe that the birth father's name was Benjamin (or Benny) Hurd. He would have been about age 19 or 20 years old when the baby was born. I did not know him well. I dated him for only about a month. I moved away from Dallas when I got pregnant and never saw him again. He had blond hair and I cannot remember his eye color. He worked as a delivery man for Coca Cola at the time. I met him through high school girlfriends. I was told by a friend that he had gotten other girls pregnant at around the same time. I have posted my information on several other adoption search engines in the past, with no luck. I recently registered my DNA with 23andMe. I searched for my birth family and found my birth father first and told me where to find my birth mother. I found out from my birth mothers family that I had a brother just a year older then me (my birthday is 11-1-1973) My birth parents were deaf and mute and this is one reason they had problems raising a child. They took Russell down to DHS on 1-1-1973 and was told if they wanted him back to come back before six months were up. The case worker's name was Linda McGainey. I am the adopted child's eldest daughter. His adopted mother refuses to give any information on the matter. But it's important to know where I came from, and medical issues I should be aware of. Information is extremely limited. His blood type is O negative. So it should help with the results a bit. I plan to take a genetic test in 8-?-2015 with Ancestry.com. His adopted father was a deacon at a church in Moore, Oklahoma. His adopted mother couldn't have children of her own. It is possible that the adoption could have taken place in Moore, but it is not uncommon for the Adoption to be from the nearby Oklahoma City Hospitals either. She won't give any direction so I am a little helpless here, but I really am desperate to know my birth grandparents, and feel very lost and abandoned myself. When I gave delivery, the nurse started to bring me my baby and I could have sworn she referred to him as a boy.
