All Other Information: I have found my birth mother. I found her through an online name search when I was 30 years old. I have met two half-birth brothers, two uncles and two cousins. I am in facebook contact with numerous other birth family members on her side. I would love to personally meet more of them! Unfortunately my birth mother does not know where to find my birth father. They did have random contact through the years but she has not heard from him in over ten years. His name is David Lowell Brown, birthday 8-20-1957 born in Portland, Oregon. He was in the Navy. He was also adopted and I have what we believe is his birth certificate number, hospital of birth from an online search he was conducting for his birth mother and sister. My birth father's birth mother was from Michigan and her name is Dorthy Strachan. I do have a little more information about when my birth parents were younger. (Update) My birth mother was 16 years old at time of birth. 5'7" tall, with hazel eyes and brown hair. Birth father is believed to be 5'9" tall, with one blue eye and one half blue half hazle, brown (Sectoral Heterochromia). He has dark brown curly hair. All Other Information: I have information on my birth mother but have not been brave enough to actually call her. I realize that she may have a lot of the information I seek but it's hard to find time to call when I feel like I have time to actually talk to her (I have 5 kids who interrupt life ha ha.) I was contacted by another relative who has spoken with her and my birth mother said it was ok to call her. The relative doesn't know much information and doesn’t seem to want to get the information I'm seeking. Ester L. Swindall was my maternal grandmother who has passed. My birth mother was 31 years old when she had me and gave me up. My birth father was apparently a trucker who came and went. My adoptive grandpa delivered me in his hospital and set up the adoption but he died in 1984. His wife said she had seen my birth mother after I was born and she was pregnant again but didn't go to my grandpa for care because she was embarrassed. The bio relative says she didn't think there were other kids from my birth mother but she wasn't sure. (Update) I was told my birth mother had green eyes and my birth father had blue eyes. I was told my birth mother was about 5'8'' tall and my birth father was over 6' tall. This may or may not be accurate info. I am 5'3.75'' tall, I have green / hazel eyes and I had very blonde hair as a child but as I've aged it's more of a light brown with red highlights (naturally). My mother's brother Troy Munroe was married to a Laurie Bissett. She told me the last time she saw my birth mother that she was using a walker but she didn't know what caused her to need it. She said my birth father was a trucker but she never met him.

All Other Information: She put the baby up for adoption in a home for pregnant women, she kept the baby for 1 week in the Hospital The mother was in a home called The Boys and Girls Society Aid. They gave her a home to live in until the baby was born. After the baby was born ,she decided that she wanted to keep the baby. She kept the baby for one week and then decided to give her up. She then took her back to the Boys and Girls home where they gave her to the people that wanted to adopt her. I called the home tonight in Oregon and talked to one of the counselors, she asked for some information, and said that she would send us some information that would aid in our search. She also said that in many cases the adoptee may have been searching for us also, and then she would be able to put us in touch with each other, which I hope is the case. All Other Information: From what I have been told, my birth mother had me in 82 and my little sister in 85. When my sister was born our birth mother gave her the name Roni Vernon because the cops were looking for our dad and she didn't want the cops to trace him threw us. I found out a few years ago that we have a brother named Stephen which is younger then me and older then my sister. My sister and I have never been seperated and are still together. when I was 3 and Martha (aka Roni) was a few months old our mother left us at the Spring Circus or Carnival in Spokane Washington. The family that was fostering us was Barbara and Joe Mach. We were then adopted by the Staffords from Sandpoint Idaho. All Other Information: Birth mother was a patient in Damasch Mental Hospital in Wilsonville, Oregon, but was transferred to another hospital possibly in the Portland area when it was discovered that the birth mother had delivered quietly to prevent having her child taken from her. Parental Rights were terminated in Coos County, Oregon and child became a ward of the state to later be adopted out. I am sister to the birth mother who suffers from beginning dementia.
