After speaking with them, they believe I was conceived as a result of an affair that their birth father had. Gary Clow is now deceased. He died 2- 25-1999. The three people who we believe are half-siblings from my birth father are Serena Kugath, Kimberly Walker, and Christy Saufley. Christy and I have met and shared our ancestry information. Using that information, I have reached out to a few people who are not matches with the above 3. They are listed as 2-3rd cousins on Ancestry.com. I have heard back from one gentleman. Here's what he said: Allen Richardson is my dad. His mom (my grandmother) died in her 40s, I never knew her. She has a sister named Diane. Who has at least 2 kids, Kim Smith and Jeffrey Smith. So Kim Smith is my dad's cousin, on my biological grandmothers side. I 'think' that if you are 2nd cousin to both of them, that would make you the grand daughter of my grandma's Aunt or Uncle. My mother thinks that the family may have been living in the Ralston area. She is pretty sure that he or she was born at 9:17 p.m. and she thinks that he or she weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21” long. One of the major things is that she is sure that they modified her last name on the birth certificate. Her actual last name is Gwartney but she is sure they changed it to Grant. Birth parents were both single. A nurse told my mother that the baby had brown hair and was a boy, however she was put under for the delivery and they never let her see the baby. My grandparents were adamant about the adoption and it's very possible my mother was given wrong information on purpose. SO the child could be a boy or a girl.
