Me being the youngest she felt she couldn't raise me as well. I was adopted by my adoptive parents straight from the hospital where from there I was raised in Grand Rapids, MI all my life. Even though God has blessed me with two wonderful loving, educated; God fearing parents I still question my identity. Still at 33 I don't have a clue who I am or where I come from. He was apparently born at approximately 32 weeks gestation and had probable mild respiratory distress. He was discharged from the hospital on 4-17-1981 and weighed 5 lbs., 5 1/2 ounces. The infant had blue eyes and brown hair, a medium complexion. He was cared for from 4-17-1981 to 5-18-1981 in foster care and placed in adoptive home on 5-18-1981. Baby boy Miller's adoptive parents were both in their mid-thirties. The adoptive mother was of Danish, Swedish, German and English ancestry. She had dark brown hair, was a college graduate and was employed in the field of education. She was 5'2" tall and weighed 111 lbs. The adoptive father was of Dutch, French, German and English ancestry. He was 6'0” tall and weighed 170 lbs. His education included Bachelor's and Master's degrees and he was also employed in the field of education. The adoptive parents had been married fourteen years and they were of the Reformed faith. They had no other children. Their interests included participation in sports (skiing, golf, sewing, collecting and traveling. The adoption was finalized in 7-?-1982. All Other Information: Looking for my two nephews, they were adopted together, however at some point one of them was removed from the home and sent to a residential care facility. I am not sure which one, I was told Adam, but not sure. I also am not sure if he ever went back. The boys names are Morris Quinton McCord III, and Adam James McCord. Last known location was Maitland, Orange County, Florida. The residential home was said to be in Orlando Florida. Both boys were born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. the are 5 days from being a year apart, so they are the same age for 5 days. The oldest had a foot that tuned in when he walked, I believe it was the right foot. It was supposed to have a brace at one point. The boys were placed in my brothers care Milford Dewayne Siler in Michigan at one point, the case worker Shella Adams took them back to Florida after my brothers wife left him. The last case worker they had was Molly Harlow with Guardian Ad Litem in Batow, Florida. The adopted mother used to keep InTouch, send us photos, and then in the late 1990's maybe 1997 or 1998 she stopped and we never heard anything again. One of the photos we received was of the boys in a Orlando taekwondo class, it said Orlando Taekwondo on the back of the shirts the kids in the room had on. We love and miss them so very much, thank you for helping us find them. Our family will not be complete without them. All Other Information: I am looking for both my nephews Adam James McCord and his older brother Morris Quinton McCord III, Adam was born on 3-23-1989, Morris was born 3-28-1988. They are the same age for 5 days. My sister placed them in temporary foster care when she became homeless in Florida. She fought for 5 years to get them back. She decided to allow a Lovely lady named Kathy adopt them so they could stay together, and not have to be shuffled from foster home to foster home anymore. Kathy would send us photos and call with updates from time to time, and them she just stopped after a few years. they were just gone. I did find out Adam (we believe) was taken out of the home and placed in a residential home due to behavior. The home was supposed to be in Orlando. I also found out Morris and Adams adopted home was in Maitland, Orange County, Florida. I do not know for how long. All Other Information: I was young When she was born and the doctor and my parents told me it would be a good idea to give her up. I didn't want to then I went in to laber to have her and I told the doctor I was going to keep her. When he told me after she was born she was dead when I heard her cry and the nurse told me she was alive the doctor just told me that so I could not go back on giving her up. All I want to know is how she is doing and that I did love her and I really did not want to give her up that is what I want her to know. I was told she was in north carolina.
