All Other Information: Hello, I am in search of my daughter Nicole Ann 'Brooks (birth name) she was adopted in ?-?-1988 @ the age of 1.5 years old. She was born @ Walla Walla, Washington hospital. The only information I received is that she was being adopted by a Christian Family maybe living in the Tri Cities or Spokane Washington. All Other Information: My name is Kyla and I'm helping a friend find her birth family. We know that she was born in Washington State in late 1988, but we have not found any records that correlate with the birth date on her birth certificate. We know that her birth mother's last name was/is Murphy and that she was intoxicated at time of delivery. We have heard that she signed Kathryn over to the state and then disappeared. Kathryn's adoptive parents were put into contact with a lady named Linda Klein in Kelso and that's who did the adoption. Kathryn has the hospital bracelet from St. Johns Hospital where she was born, but again we haven't found any records that match this. Her adoptive parents told her that it was a closed adoption and were never told much of anything about the birth family. Kathryn is just under five feet even, has brown eyes and has dirty dishwater blonde hair. She has no other identifying markings that she knows of.

All Other Information: The adoption was an open adoption, but all contact was lost around 2001. I've tried to contact the adoption agency, but they are no longer listed. I just want to know that he's ok and doing well. I do respect that he has a family and his own life. I would just like him to know that I do love him & I think of him often. If he would like to meet me on his terms, I would love to see him, but I don't want any pressure to be put on him. I would atleast like to know that he is happy and doing well. If I know he's had a good up bringing & that he's happy, I may be able to finally have some closure after all these years. He will 21 in February. Options for Pregnancy was located in Tukwila, Washington & was operated through WACAP. I'm not positive if Joshua Drew is the name that they actually gave him. I assume it to be his first and middle name. I was told that his adoptive parents names were Ron & Kay. His adopted brother's name was Cody. Cody was about 3 or 4 years old when Josh was born. I had just turned 15 four months before Joshua was born. I was blessed to be able to spend 3 days in the hospital with him. I want him to know that I did want to keep him very badly, but I was too young to be given the choice. I was though, given the opportunity to choose his family. I was very picky, but when I finally found them, I was very confident that he would have an upbringing that I would have loved to have myself. Naturally I was torn up over the adoption, but my mother was also devestated. I had no clue until she came with me to a support group for birth mothers. Actually, just the other day, she informed me that if she could have taken time off work to help me raise him, she would have. I guess she didn't feel that a 15 year old could take care of a young baby during the day. She may have been right. I do feel that Josh had a much better life that I could have given him. I just want to know that he's ok and that the adoption was the best thing for him. I also I very important family medical history for him. It's fairly new information, but it's very important that the infomation gets to him for his medical records.

All Other Information: Basically as much information as possible on Medical, Gene, Psychological and Biological History and Background as possible without actual contact with birth parents, as I do not wish for that at this time. I would, however, like to know, if possible, relatives names and relation to me and information on biological family if available. One known sibling: (besides Amanda, my biological sister who was adopted with me): A brother-severely handicapped. Was the eldest sibling out of the three of us. To my knowlege he was placed in state care before my sister and I. Don't know if he's even alive or dead. Birth Certificate I have is not the one issued at actual birth. It does not have my Weight or Height at time of birth, and it says my adoptive parents names instead of biological and it was issued in 1994-not at time of birth. Would like to know my birth information like Weight and Height, etc. I am having a baby, due to be born any day now and I would like to know more of my background so I can try to answer the questions the hospital / doctors ask me of my background more accurately. Any and all information you are able to provide is greatly appreciated and I truley thank you for your assistance ahead of time. It is important for me to provide educated info to doctors on my expected daughters behalf, especially if their are any genetic conditions or disorders that myself, and they, should be aware of. It is nerve wracking, as I'm sure you know, to be in the dark about things like this. What I know: Shortly after birth, biological grandmother took care of us most of time but fell ill and passed away. Biological Parents Rights to Children terminated before adoption took place. Was placed in State care (Child and Family services) in approx 1990, with my siter Amanda Kelly (last name Southerland at the time). After Biological grandmother passed, we were placed in foster care with a couple named Gene and Paul in Port Townsend, WA (Jefferson County) until we were moved into adoptive parents home in Sequim, WA (Clallam County) in 1992. Issue Date of Adoption Certificate: 6-3-1994 (Was in the home of Margaret and Robert's since 1992) from Clallam County Court House in Port Angeles, WA 98382 (Clallam County). Adopted with biological Sister, Amanda Kelly (Last name Southerland before Adoption). Adoptive parents didn't want to seperate us. Martine Soiseth III of Dept. of Social and Health Services in Port Angeles, WA (Clallam County) wrote letter to adoptive parents on 2-7-1994 before adoption was finalized in 6-?-1994, of medical / psychological / biological background she was able to find of biological parents, grandparents and my sister and I. This didn't provide solid records, it was more of just a "warning" letter of the possible road ahead with adopting my sister Amanda and I (due to possible pyschological effects, etc. from biological background from birth parents) I do have a copy of this lettter.
