All Other Information: (Update) My birth mother was 18 or 19 years old at the time I was born and I had a sister that was 2. My birth parents lived together but were not married. I was suppose to be given up at birth but they decided to try to keep me but in December of 1990 they realized they weren't gone be able to. The hospital that is on my birth certificate has since then been torn down but I got in touch with someone who has the hospital files and they said only males were born at that hospital on 10-27-1990. I've tried to get in touch with the doctor that's on my birth certificate but he is very ill n has given up his practice. (Update) Even though my adoption was taken place in Atlanta my adoptive parents live in SC (also were i've been since I was adopted). I am 5' 3 1/2" tall. Im not sure about my birth parents. I have black hair and brown eyes. I do know that my adoptive mother sent my birth mother a letter and picture of me though the adoption service was she first adopted me saying thank you (but im not sure if my birth parents got the letter or not). (Update) Even though I was born in GA and the adoption place was there, my adoptive parents are from Greenville, SC so I found out that my adoption records are sealed in Family Court in Greenville, SC not in Atlanta, GA

All Other Information: The following information is what I have been told by my adoptive mother. All information provided is known to be true, though could be mistaken. My biological mother was 19 years old when she fell pregnant with me. She is one of five children. Her parents were still married. My biological mother kept her pregnancy a secret from her family. When she was seven months pregnant with me, she visited a family law office (where my adoptive mother worked at the time) to speak with an attorney about the process of placing a baby for adoption. Once birth mother explained her intentions, the attorney indicated he knew someone who would want to adopt the baby - my adoptive mother, as she had been trying to adopt for the previous five to ten years. My understanding is that my birth mother had quite a list of requirements for which the adoptive family must meet - be married, be Christian, both have college degrees, etc. My birth mother did not reveal any information about the birth father. Because law required that he waive his rights to paternity, a newspaper ad had to be placed, allowing two weeks for him to come forward to stake any claims. In the article, I was (I believe) referred to as "Baby Girl Jarvis." After speaking with the attorney, birth mother told her parents about her pregnancy. Apparently, they wanted her to keep me. They would help raise me while she finished college. She insisted the adoption go through, regardless of birth mother's parents' wishes. I was born two weeks early on 11-10-1991 around 2:00 p.m. at Columbus Medical Center. My adoptive mother picked me up from the hospital 17 hours after my birth, around 7:00 a.m. the following day.

All Other Information: I am looking for my birth nephew, His mother referred to him as Baby Evan. He would have been born late 1998 through 1999. As a baby he was light-skinned with a head full of curly hair like his older brother. He has 1 full blooded older brother (other nephew), 1 older maternal half Brother, 1 younger maternal half sister, and 3 younger paternal sisters! His Brothers, father sisters, aunts, cousins and grandparents want the opportunity to meet him. I was told it was an open adoption and he was adopted to a family in Texas. I seen a picture of him the day I found out about the adoption He was approximately between the ages of 6-10 months old. It looked like he was at home was in front of a fireplace in primary colored jacket and a little jumpsuit. I was recently in Louisiana at a restaurant near Grambling when I spotted a picture of a young man that looked almost identical to my brother and his son at the same age range. All Other Information: Born late in the day 3-2-1999 weighting just over 5 lbs. The placement service used was Bethany Christion Services based out of Atlanta, MS. Bare was the adoptive parents agency representative. Birth mother lived in Columbus, Muscogee Co, GA at the time of birth. Both birth parents were single. Birth mother was born in 1976 aged 22 years old. 5’3” tall, weight: 145 lbs., with green eyes and brown hair, 23 and Me DNA is the database used. It was a very difficult birth. Initially adoptee was place with Donna and Tommy but divorced w/in a year and worked with birth grand parents to find her current parents, listed above as adopted parents. Birth mother was in basic training and could not be a part of the search process.
