All Other Information: Birth mother was 17 years old in her junior year of high school when she had me. She Had brown hair and brown eyes and stood 5' 4" tall and usualy weighed 125 lbs. with medium complexion. I was told by Catholic Charities that they could not find that she graduated and that she was not on the ND marriage index. My birth father was Lutheran had 3 years of college, 2 in electronics and one year in Business. He was working on his fathers farm at the time of my birth and was not from Fargo, ND. My birth mother at the time of my birth had 3 sisters, 14, 7, and 3 years old. All the sisters had dark brown hair and brown eyes. My birth father had green eyes was 5'11" tall and weighed around 150 lbs. My maternal grandmother was Native American, French and of black descent. She had an 8th grade education was of Catholic faith. She worked as a waitress, nurses aid and took care of a child. My maternal grandfather was employed as a mechanic was of Baptist faith and was 35 years old at the time of my birth. He was Norwgeian and had a 8th grade education. I learned that he is deceased at the age of 69 and died in a nursing home around 1999. He was divorced from my maternal grandmother at the time of my birth and his obituary said he was remarried and that he had a total of 6 daughters and 5 sons and he had worked as a mechanic, farm hand and a minner. I found out in 2-?-2012 that My birth mother has one brother and one nephew who is in jail also. I was told recently that I am Chipewa indian. My adopition was finalized on 6-13-1966.

All Other Information: (Update) Infant was put up for adoption thru an adoption agency in Grand Forks, N.D. That's what we were told by the adoption agency where we got our son. The birth mother was 24 years old when she gave birth to my son and she gave birth to this other infant before my son so I would guess she was maybe 21-22 years old ?. Birth father is unknown. She graduated from a North Dakota high school in 1964 and was a sophomore in college when I was born. In college she was in choir, GAA, newspaper annual, drama club, and radio guild. She worked as a "car hop" and a receptionist. She was hospitalized in 1961 for a ear operation. Her enthnicity is Danish (father) and Norwegian (mother). Her father was in car sales and mother was Welcome Wagon Hostess. Birth mother was confirmed in a Congressional Church. At the time of my birth she had 4 older sisters. (30, 28, 24, 21) Birth mother resided in a "maternity home" during her pregnacy. At the time of my birth my birth father was 20 years old and 6' tall, 190 lbs. He was of Norwegian decent. At the time of my birth he was a junior in college. His father was 6'1" tall 215 lbs. and mother was 5'9" tall, 160 lbs. All Other Information: I am searching for my birth mother, birth father, any birth family member’s. Here is all I really know. I born at St. Johns hospital in Fargo, ND. I was only 5 days old when I was adopted. It was handled very quickly from what I was told, and my birth mother supposedly lived in a unwed mothers home in Moorhead, MN which I believe has burned down. The birth date on record is 7-10-1967 but I have discovered that might be off by a few days or it might be accurate. I had blue eyes with reddish hair, growing up I was very blonde. My adopted parents at that time lived in Park Rapids, MN and I believe that was where the legal side was done via Catholic Charities I think out of Crookston, MN. Just looking I am not angry, but I would love to see and learn about my birth family. I have been looking for years with one dead end after another. So I keep trying all avenues. Thanks!. (Update) St Johns is no longer a hospital. (Update) My birth mother was young I was told between 16 to 20 years old. I am 5'10" tall, 220 lbs. (Update) Birth mother was 15 years old at time of birth I was born on a Saturday, the Agency called my Adopted parents on Monday, and they picked me up on Wednesday 7-15, my birth mother was already gone. Also, they think she stayed at Luther Hall in Fargo ND ?. (Update) Social Workers name was Andrew Vanyo. He worked at Catholic Charities in Red Lake Falls. My adoption "was" handled via Catholic Charities of Minnesota (Crookston/Red Lake Falls MN, I guess this is a joint office). The home in Fargo was not Luther Hall in 1967, it was instead called The Florance Crittenton Home of Mercy. All legal paper work and proceedings were handled in the Park Rapids Court House of Hubbard County, MN.

All Other Information: I am assisting the birth father to reunite with his birth daughter one day. Birth father was an air force solder stationed at Grand Forks air force base in North Dakota from 1967 to 1968 then to Viet Nam. On his off days going into Grand Forks City he met this young college student she became pregnant the parents took her out of college and when the baby was born gave it up for adoption and sent the baby’s mother to England to complete her education. Therefore baby's birth father does not know much about the adoption we are hoping that maybe his name might be on the birth certificate. (Update) Birth mother was around 19-20 years old at time of birth. 5'8" tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
